Poker Videos...
As I sort of hinted earlier, I have begun to record some of my sessions of online poker. So far, I have only recorded 2 sessions, along with one very short video explaining what the PokerTracker numbers on my screen are.
So far, after having produced two videos, I feel that the time I have put in to this has been very worthwhile.
First of all, I feel that making the videos helps me to deeply think about my game while I am playing, as I do not want to make a "stupid" decision when everyone will see it. Obviously, I play exactly the same as I would off video for the most part, except that the video keeps me absolutely immune to tilt (so far). On top of this, I feel like I can be forced to reflect on my play, and how I could improve.
Secondly, it is kind of exciting just publishing the videos, and the program I am using is really cool with lots of fun features. (Camtasia)
Finally, I feel that my videos really could help some people trying to learn and adapt to an online cash game strategy where the winning players simply have to play tight and follow the math. For the most part, creative plays are just not rewarded in the long run online. I am not saying my strategy is the best, but I think it could be worth seeing for those who have seemed to struggle online. Take it for what it is worth.
With that being said, I would greatly appreciate any feedback from those who spend the time to watch any of these videos. Tell me what you would have done differently, what you like, and what you think is just completely stupid on my part.
Finally, the last thing I ask is obviously that noone share these videos outside of this forum. There is somewhat private information in the videos, and obviously I would not want them posted everywhere.
With all of that, the link to access my files is http://rapidshare.com/users/JUVW67.
The password to gain access is "superdonk".
Have fun viewing and I look foward to hearing some feedback.
