    How to shrink a JPEG?

I want to use a JPEG I have as an avatar but it's too big for the site....is there a way to shrink one to fit?

In paint, you want to use the stretch skew feature I believe it is under tools or something. You stretch or skew by percentage.

However, you need to do it in ONE SHOT or it will start to get badly distorted. So if you don't get it on the first try, undo and choose a different percentage.

Im sure theres better programs but I am assuming you are trying to use ghetto paint like I do

Your picture is still a little distorted.

Don't use MS Paint. Download GIMP. It's free. GIMP - Downloads

You can also upload pic to Photobucket and then shrink it to size from there....

The best way to shrink a JPEG is to put it in really cold water. Works every time!
