Converting Hand Histories!

Hey everyone,

For everyone who plays online, there is a very useful tool for analyzing hands. You just copy and paste your hand history into the converter, and it displays it in an easy to read format on the forum. It makes it much easier to analyze play when everyone can see EXACTLY what happened. (position, bet size, pot size, etc.) To convert hands, go to leggopoker.com. Use the "FullTiltPoker.com" preference for output that pastes nicely on to Bad Beat's Forum. So instead of having a hand history that looks likes this...

Where on leggo poker's site do you have to go to do this? And you don't have to be a member to use this do you?

Make sure to select "FullTiltPoker.com Forum" for your "Converting Preferences". I found this makes the most readable output for our forum.

If anyone knows some better/easier converters feel free to share.

You do not have to be a member to convert, I made a free account just so my preferences could be saved though. I don't get any junk mail from them or if I do I don't see it.

Haha. My laziness to go to the site and even spend a second looking for the hand converter is straight embarassing. However, that microsoft paint image clearly shows how to locate the converter. There should be a link to a hand converter somewhere in this quick reply box and on the reply-to-thread page to encourage everybody to use the hand converter.

Another option is Convert Poker Hand Histories | TheHandConverter.com: Powered by DeucesCracked.com either using the plain text or even better, the phpbbforum formatting.

I think an easy way for this forum to improve is for everybody to take the time to convert your hands. COnverted hands are way easier and way faster to look at.The raw histories do not show the pot size on every street which is sometimes important. Also, it take s so much less time and effort to read a converted hh so people who don't have much time to post in a thread will have the time to look at the post without having to decode the raw history.

Have you ever used the universal hand replayer? I know some pros on different training sites use it and its like watching the hands play out in real time. Not sure how you would incorp it in the forums though. Its free as well, worth checking out since you can load entire hand histories in it.
