I had ScoobyAK saying how horrible i played it. I still think it was a good play see a flop with plenty in the pot, and bet out.. got the perfect caller, and of course lost on the turn, but still i was miles ahead in a well disguised hand IMO.. What do you think?

The only trap you are setting in a $5 buy in for yourself. ABC is all that is needed at this level.

I don't think you need to get tricky and limp. At low buy ins they will call you so light that you are best off playing abc poker. More often than not you get yourself into bad spots when you limp at this level. How happy can you be with 4 callers? Yeah its a decent flop but any of these fools can have 2 pair.

true enough but i just think the way it played out was exactly what i hoped for some fish with top pair thinks he is good..

So i raise with JJ early 3x and get shoved on now i'm either behind or a flip.. SO jacks i think in that position are a tough hand to play.. idk i was pretty lost myself.

I agree, abc poker dominates these levels. Stacking off with top pair 8 kicker is why abc crushes these levels so much

But well played nice trap, just got unlucky. That bull$%$@ happens to me constantly. My favorite move at lower stakes is 3bet pre oop, check shove flop. They always bet when u check and always call ur checkshove. Other than that I never do anything cute.
