    i go broke there...

possibly the prob is that it's the early stage of a super stack tournament and villian wasn't concerned about peeling one for only 280 w/ a gutter (i know 280 is nearly 100% of the pot there on the flop, so i say 'only' b/c of the relation of the bet to the starting chip stack)...

i like ur raise pf, i like ur c bet on flop, and i like ur c/r when u hit the turn...when villian has KT there, i don't see how u get away from it other than just check calling the turn or river, but where is the value in that in the long run?

Curious as to why u check/called the flop. I'm leading that flop every time with QQ.

I think u gave him an opening to bet at it when u checked there.

    What do you think?

wow...reading this made me realize i initially misread the hh...i thought hero led out on the flop and got called...

    gg reading comprehension.

that being said, plz disregard my initial comment, lol...b/c that changes everything!

even with the one over card coming on the flop, you toally give villian control of the hand by check calling the flop and continuing to check on the turn being first to act. you went wrong when you gave him this control and ultimatly allowed him to see the turn at a price he was willing to pay (his semi-bluff flop bet) and he just happened to get there w/ the two outer.

if you lead on the flop does villian still call? who knows, but at least that's a line i'm willing to take.

you definetly have to cbet the flop. when you check, he is taking a stab at the pot to see if you like the ace or not. Maybe he peels one off for the gut shot anyway..who knows, but you can justify going broke that way rather than giving him control of the pot.
