Ashland area club - Open Jan 11

Aces Wild Social Club opening with a $25 tourney today. Check their FB or website for details.

( for the record, I am not associated with them. I work at Hollywood)

Congrats on the new job at Hollywood Dave and thanks for keeping us informed on the local poker club scene. When can we expect some major tourneys being hosted at Hollywood? How has the poker room be doing since the opening? I have been to Hollywood Indiana but not yet at Columbus, how does the poker room compare (I heard it was bigger)? Do they have a big expo room for tourney's like Indiana?

I don't think you will see a major tournament at Hollywood Casino Columbus (HCC) until at least May and that will be the new HPO series (Hollywood Poker Open). They do have a large event center for when they do those tournaments. The poker room currently has 30 tables where as I believe Lawrenceburg now has 19 since they moved their room upstairs.

And the poker room has been doing great. They have the unusual room of 100% of the big stack buy-in so the play can get pretty deep even at lower limits.
