I start tomorrow at table 25, seat 9. Most likely my table won't break all day, so I plan on sitting in that same seat for twelve hours.

Good Luck Scott!
I drew a tough seat at a tough table today, with several very good and aggressive players on my left. I struggled a little at first, and had to make some adjustments in order to compensate.
I have been totally trusting instincts and going with my reads. I was wrong twice, and right a bunch of times so far. In level 3, I dropped all the way down to 1,300 chips after putting a guy all in who had flopped trips with top kicker. Oops.
I had two very interesting hands so far. The first was pocket jacks UTG at a full table of ten when I had an awkward stack size of 30 BB. The table was playing very aggressive. If I raised, I knew it would be re-raised and I would be in a tough spot out of position. So I decided to limp-shove. I limped and the most aggressive player raised big. I shoved and he folded.
The other interesting hand was when I played back at a guy who was playing back at me, Dave Nutini style. At 100/200, I raised to 525 from the cutoff with J-9 suited. Both blinds called, and these were probably the two toughest players at our table. The flop was A-A-6 with two to a flush and none of my suit. They both checked. I knew one of them would check-raise for four reasons. First, they're aggressive. Second, it was a paired board. Third, an ace flopped. And fourth, I bet smaller than someone trying to protect against a flush would normally bet. So I bet 625, one of them check-raised to 1,375 and re-raised to 2,150, leaving only 4,000 behind. He folded and I smiled inside.
Somewhere around 1,900 players started in today's event, and only 540 players remain. We are stopping when only 15% (288 players) are left, and they'll do the same thing tomorrow for day #1B.
Here are my chip stacks at the start of each level so far...
1: 25/25 - 3,000
2: 25/50 - 4,650
3: 50/100 - 2,900 (recovered from 1,300)
4: 75/150 - 3,350
5: 100/200 - 6,150
6: 100/200 (25) - 9,225
7: 150/300 (25) - 13,175

Keep it up Scottie .. What is avg at this point?
Keep going Scott, you can do it, expecting a final table here, then a victory in the main event!!!!
Easy Peasy
What happened in this one, Scott?
I'm guessing that since you were able to hang with Gretchen and all the boys last night that you ran into some trouble.
Are there any Bad Beaters left?
We must believe in luck. For how else can we explain the success of those we don't like.
