Any two cards...
Hey everyone, thanks!! It was 263 in the field, $240 buy-in.
When we started day two, we were 29 left and in the money. I had 12 blinds. People were busting like crazy, but when we had 14 left, I was down to 4.5 blinds due to avoiding a ton of all in action before me and looking down at complete crap cards.
I finally picked up AK and went up against 44 and QQ and won, so it was more than a triple up with all the huge antes. At that point I went on a tear. My stack went from 49k to 560k and next thing you know, we're at the final table.
Again, 5 people went out pretty quick and then the battle began.
I amped up the aggression to a all new level, wiped out the only other person close to me and went into heads up with 2.4 million in chips. The other girl had probably 400k at the most. We played two hands and on the third, I put her all in with K7 and she called with 44. Flopped a King, turned a 7 and avoided the two outer
Nearly $12k and a $7k diamond and gold bracelet. Pretty awesome win. Hell of a comeback. I learned the importance of "any two cards" at the final table. I applied maximum pressure, got lucky and won some races and the rest is history.
Thanks to Dana, Mark, KymBellKymBellKymBell, Kim, and Holly for railing at various points.
congrats very nice
Congrats!
