Post Advice for the Chef

Ok folks here's the deal.... as I am sure some of you may know, I will be freerolling the ME this year. If you're local to the BadBeats Forum, you may have played with me.
After playing event 51 last year and rolling out there all wide eyed, I feel like Some of the shock and awe will most likley be gone.
My question is simply this.....
If you were in my shoes, what would be the ONE thing that you would focus most on, when preparing for, or participating in this event.
Let me know what you all think

Chef

I played in my first WSOP this year. Atlthough I felt completely comfortable during the tourney I didnt do anything to prepare beforehand. However, looking back I would say that the reason for my minor success was that I was close to 100% focused most of the time. Also, I feel that I played my hands correct 80-90% of the time. What this really means is that I didn't chase when I didnt have odds or implied odds, I laid down bigs hands when I felt I was beat, and I made moves when I had to or felt I had the best hand.

Also, In your case, DO NOT PLAY SCARED. I can see this happening due to the fact that it is someone elses money. If you play scared, you wont be playing your best. Pretend it is a $100 home game. Focus, relax, and play your best.

Good Luck.

I think the number one thing I would recommend is to take your time and really think through every decision. There are no clocks, and most of the time you can figure out where you are in a hand if you take enough time to process all the information. Good luck Dustin!
