Thumbs up Jeffrey Lisandro WSOP POY

This guy is completely unstoppable at this year's W.S.O.P. So far he has earned THREE bracelets, and is the first to do this since Phil Ivey in 2002!

Clearly he's the best Stud player in the world right now, having earned bracelets in all three forms already this month:

Seven Card Stud (Event 16)
$1,500 buy-in 6/6/2009 1st $124,975

World Championship Seven Card Stud H/L-8 (Event 37)
$10,000 buy-in 6/18/2009 1st $431,656

Seven Card Razz (Event 44)
$2,500 buy-in 6/22/2009 1st $188,390

Plus he's had three other cashes at the W.S.O.P. this month:

World Championship Seven Card Stud (Event 6)
$10,000 buy-in 6/1/2009 9th $36,266

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-low Split-8 or Better (Event 27)
$5,000 buy-in 6/12/2009 17th $14,889

Pot-Limit Omaha (Event 35)
$5,000 buy-in 6/17/2009 33rd $11,345

I wonder what he's doing so differently than others, to completely dominate the stud games?

Instead of all of us who look at the other games and think "man I should go learn those games because Hold'em gets harder and harder to dominate" but continue to play it day in and day out, he went out and learned the less popular games, how to beat them, and then laughs at the donks that come to his table who get pwned because he learned the games we only thought would be a great idea to learn. Funny how that works, just like when PLO becomes hard to win in a year or two and becomes the number one game in casinos, we'll say, man, PLO was so much easier in 2009, why didn't we play it then?

I'm guessing Lisandro knew stud well before holdem.
