Exclamation Check From Full Tilt Bounced

My last withdrawal from Full Tilt of $2000 was pulled back out of my checking account approximately one week after I deposited it. Has anyone else had any experience with this?

Are they going to reimburse me for the $15 refund fee and overdraft fees?

Acesfull went through something similar (although he just never got his check) and he requested 10% addition to the check to cover his losses ($200) in your case i think this 200 is very reasonable.

ya, mine was with the Merge Network though. FTP should be much better about reimbursement and what not. Unfortunately banks are getting more and more strict about accepting certain checks. Id assume once you explain the situation to FTP, they will reissue a new check from a sister bank or something along those lines. They will probably require a copy of your bank statement with your name or a picture that shows the check was bounced as well. Good luck!

This bounce was due to "insufficient funds" from the bank the check was wrote on, so this definitely was not an issue created by my bank. I also waited a ton of time for the check.

They acknowledged there was an issue with check processing and this still happened...

My communication with FT is below:

    Good Morning,

I received notification from my bank this morning that the $2000.00 from transfer ID: 06FA18BA was removed from my bank account today, putting my checking account into a negative balance of over $800. I have incurred a $15 check refund fee as well as overdraft fees as a result of this.

    Please rectify this situation IMMEDIATELY.

    Hello David,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

As previously advised, we are aware of delays with delivery of checks that were requested in December. Though we are unable to provide you with an exact date, your checks should arrive with a few days delay outside the estimate delivery timeline of 15 business days.

Unfortunately, we cannot issue another check or return the money to your Full Tilt Poker account without processing a stop payment on your current check. This is usually completed within 6 to 9 business days.

Please let us know if you would like us to request a stop payment on your check, or if you would prefer to wait for its arrival.

Thank you for your patience, and if there is anything else we can do for you, please feel free to ask.

    Regards,

    Andrew,

I would like to withdraw the funds using a different withdrawal method if you are unable to provide an ETA for when I should expect to receive the funds.

Would it be possible to credit the funds to my account and reimburse me for withdrawing the funds through premium bank wire? Full Tilt has done this for me in the past when withdrawals have been delayed beyond the expected timeframes.

    Please let me know.

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

We're sorry to hear your checks have not arrived yet.

According to our records, your checks for $1916.89 and $2000 were processed by our third party check processor on December 10th and 12th.

If I remember correctly, I would have rather done the bank transfer, but it becomes "unavailable" all the time and the only option was premium bank wire. I refuse to pay the fees for the premium wire.

It has taken me over 4 months just to cash out my $7,000 some balance... ridiculous. How would you even make 100k a year if they refuse to pay you.

Full Tilt returned the funds to my account today plus a $100 credit. Full Tilt said if I could prove that I incurred over $100 in fees due to the check they would reimburse for me.

I only incurred $35 in fees so I guess we are cool.

Withdraw by check again and cross fingers?

    Such BS.

I have had the problem several times tbh. They actually have reimbursed me more than any fees I've incurred the 2-3 times it happened.

Not to be on FTP's side AT ALL, cuz I'm def not!

The problem is, and always has been for me at least, the payment processors.
    (the intermediary banks)

For obv reasons, it's just harder to get $ to and from the off-shore sites these days.

If I had to make an semi-educated guess: I'd say that the check producing co's/ pmt processors are moving funds from acct to acct and prob closing and opening new ones consistently for their own reasons. (UIGEA etc.)

I'm guessing it's easier for the pmt processors when it's a wire xfer because of the speed of transaction. Just a hunch.

Hope it all works out for ya.
