    Building an Omaha roll

I've decided to start building a roll for 6 max plo cash games online. Ill be playing on UB only (rakeback & its the only site I can deposit on) and I decided to start at .25/.50 with 1k. My goal is eventually to be 4-6 tabling $1/$2 6 max PLO. I decided that I have to put in 10k hands minnimum at each level before moving up (assuming after 10k hands im beating the game) & I have to have at least 25 buyins for the next level as well. When playing I thought it would be a good idea to break up my playing into 500 hand sessions. After 500 hands I take a break and review my play over the last session using pokertracker and then I try and fix any leaks I might have & then I get back to the tables later for another 500 hands. My goal is to move up as quickly as possible since I dont think ill have any problem beating .25/.50 or .50/1.00 so I will also be depositing more money to make it easier to move up after 10k hands if necessary, but im hoping my rakeback money will take care of that. Not sure how many plo players there are on the site but ill be using this forum to post some interesting hands & my graphs showing my progress.

here is my graph after 2,735 hands

I Figured it would take me around this many hands to start making money and get a good feel for how the game plays. I spent the first 500-1k hands playing pretty wide open & experimenting with a few thing to see what worked and what didn't.

Are you simply in this for the meta game that it would induce on later hands? If not it is a ridiculous call of the all in on the flop. Two pair is a worthless hand 98% of the time in OMAHA. But that said, he should never have called the three bet preflop IMO. If you are an action player this style of play seems to profit most people in PLO, but only if they know exactly when to tighten it up and buckle down with solid starting hands. I play a ton of PLO, and would love to sit a few games with you. We play live PLO in Bellefontaine most fridays, and it's a good game with good people. I can get you in if you msg me. I am not always there, but they like to throw money away, if you are into a juicy game?
Playing 72 from utg is like wiping before you poop........ It just doesn't make any sense

lol his vpip and pfr were very high and like I said I had been 3 betting him in position quite frequently since he's opening such a wide range and I knew he was getting sick of it cause I had won all the other pots I 3 bet him in uncontested....therefore two pair = stones and im never folding there ever lol ...I normally play $2/$5 in toledo on fridays but I would be interested in plo in bellefontaine for sure....do you know rex? he plays poker a lot and loves plo and lives in bellefontaine

for the record im not new to omaha i've just decided I want to start grinding the 6max cash games online and make it my primary game and its always good to start at the lowest level you can take seriously, ive been playing plo for years, live cash, online tournaments, and when I was younger and first discovered the game i learned playing full ring cash games online and reading as much as I could about the game.

Yes, I know Rex. And he knows the game I talk of. Your 2/5 game is probably a much much better game though And I believe you and I have sat across a table once or twice maybe at Doughboys? Been a while I believe though. And now with the history of his play, I would agree on the not folding. I have notes on several players like him.
