what does this mean? everyone in the 99% is in the top 1% online players in the world for tournaments?

Yes, for online players, for a particular website.

By my math, we have nearly 1% of the top 1% of players as members of our website. Not too bad imo.

Or, if you wanna think about it a different way... approximately 5% of our membership is in the top 1% of the poker population.
