4th in 40k - socrates

first I apologize to everyone anoyed by my braging posts..but I must say it has helped my game thus as long as the mods allow me I ll continue posting my FT appearances

although I have already a runner up result in this tourney, last night was the closest to TID and as the field was almost double than usual 20k first prize looked like the ultimate goal for the end of a simply great month (25k scheduled&sitngo August wins shiiiipiiiiiiiit)

I was 2nd in chips basically same as the chipleader, bloody jagz had shoved the last 6 or 7 raises where I woke up with JJ...and called his reraise shove with A10...A on the turn and thats all she wrote...3rd and 4th in chips had merely over 10BB thus HU was quite easy to reach and meant 5k bigger payout..
Wondering how many of you guys would fold JJ in similar situation considering the bubble factor??
Myself I simply wanted to win and saw a great opportunity to TID right there,
10 hours later though I feel I should have evtl. folded an go for the HU & bigger payout.

After playing a looot of poker this weekend I toke the day off today and enjoyed a great late summer day by the lake.

My goal for Sept. is obv. to be as consistant as in Jul/Aug..not play to many 150++$ tourneys and to increase ROI in those I play.
Keep the shark in me hungry and focused

1st off great job man, but you gotta think that you made the correct play there with the JJ ,,, i mean you were going for the win and got your money in a big favorite the cards just didnt work out. If i were in that situation i would of done same thing "if i was going for the win" which it seems like you were, so you cant have any regrets and you played it perfect. On the other hand "if you were going for the more money" then you didnt play it right.. but you said yourself you were going for the win , so nothing else you could of done in that spot.
Great job man!!!
