Hollywood Casino Columbus Poker - Enough is Enough

Open Request to Hollywood Casino Poker Room and Poker Room Management:

Ok, enough is enough. I've played some cash games now but I'm sure I'm not the only tournament player in C-Town who's wondering when the heck you guys are going to quit farting around and post a regular tournament schedule.

Let's be realistic, you opened your doors over 4 months ago and every other Casino in Ohio and around the region has a regular tournament schedule.

That's it. Short & Sweet. I'm not going to blow smoke up your butt and kiss ass to you telling you how nice your poker room is blah bla bla blah. You guys have jobs. You have 30 Tables. The area is craving for someone to fill the gap and all you hav to do is your job!

Stop dicking around and lets see something more substantial than "Tournament Schedule should be available soon .... Dec 2012...errr..Jan 2013...errr...early 2013. Enough is enough already. Please get it done.

Ummmmmmm ...... they posted the schedule on either Thursday or Friday last week. As for regular schedules, Cleveland only has two tournaments per week. And also Hollywood Columbus Casino (HCC) was waiting for the state's approval. The state has to approve everything..... from chips used, to buy in, to levels.....etc. And the schedule was posted in less than 3 and a half months from opening.

Post the web link then. I've been to HCC website for poker and ther is no such schedule. If you can't post an updated schedule link here then it's just more bs. You sound like you work in PR for Hollywood Casino. I don't care about state laws and chip colors etc. Save the excuses and post something we can plan on playing in.

Chill out Jeff, If the state hasn't approved the tournament schedule, how can you blame HCC for not releasing it? Anyway, they did release the schedule. I think it is currently only available on their FB page.

As for me working in the PR department, I do not and I do not work in the poker room. Not even allowed in the poker room if I am on the clock.

Just an off the cuff observation. Sorry for the hate.

The HCC web page would be the most logical place to find the schedule imo and it's still not updated. But no worry...

For those wanting to know fyi there is a free Iphone app "Bravo Poker Live".

It's pretty sweet. You can plug in any casino and they will list out all Live Games and current wait list. ADDITIONALLY, they list out all upcoming Live Tournaments and regular schedules. Here you will find HHC's upcoming Live Tourney Schedule due to begin March 4, 2013 (why the wait? who knows...at least it's posted).

In any case... looks like there will be both AM & PM Tourneys (AM starts at 10:15AM and PM starts at 7:15PM). AM Buyins starting $70 ($60 +$10 w/$10 dealer appreciation add-on (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) and PM buyins starting at $90 ($75+15 w/ $10 appreciation add-on). This would be Mon. thru Thurs with week end tourney buyins increasing up to the $240 mark for "The Big One" which looks to be a Sat. tourney starting at 10:15AM .

Anyway... this is just a rough rundown of whats on the app. Glad to see something posted.
