    Training Sites

I am going to open a new account (probably Cake) through Pocket Fives. They are then offering 6 months free to one of the following training sites:

    Real Poker Training
    StoxPoker
    Leggo Poker
    Poker Pwnage

Has anyone tried any of these sites? Will I get anything out of it? Which site should I sign up for?

I became a member of CardRunner's about 7 days ago. I think them and Stox are owned by the same people or something. I bought with points and I think they are going to extend my membership indefinitely for a deep discount as long as I put in volume.

I can't compare one to another... On Cardrunners there is a LOT of junk videos, the forum is mostly useless, however, the few top notch videos there make it worth it. Video from Braminc, one of the best SnG players on Tilt makes it worth it alone. Its entertaining as well as helpful.

Let me know if you have any questions about CardRunners.

Oh and for what its worth... Everytime I post a hand history on here I use LeggoPoker's converter

Does anyone know, are they just poker forums with videos or is there personalized coaching included?

Not included at CR. Cardrunner's coaches run anywhere from $100-$350 per hour or session. Supposedly you can chat with members, but no one is ever in the chat.

I joined Poker Pwnage back in Nov 08. I can say with out doubt that it has helped me as a player. Even as a sng player it has helped me immensly. I know of the regulars there from other sites, not only good players but good guys as well. Definitely worth considering.

They also have bi-weekly or monthly private tourneys where the winner can choose a free hour long session with one of the pros.
