Bad call IMO. But I think the shove was a bit loose as well. Especially into a stack that has you covered.

if this is full tilt 45man, shoving k2 from sb for 10+bb seems very spewy. I don't play 45mans much but with the slowest structure in the world, I don't think you need to be this aggro blind vs blind...

Horrible call by him for sure.

One approach i make when playing my 45's is not to really attempt to steal the blind except at the final of course, I also call light vs shoves like yours but with more like hands 55+ A6+.. Certainly thinking a pair is good and any ace thats shoving is as weak as mine.. Any pair 10's+ is making a raise not a shove and any non-ace rag most likely does the same, inless its an aggressive player who shoves time and time again ( might actually wake up with a good hand and make the same move to disguise. )

As for your play of shoving K2, its marginal. Sure i can tell ya how bad it is, and how atleast have an ace, etc etc.. But really HU King high is good, and you had him preflop (wow what a call, was he call others so light, is this his favorite hand?? lol wtf) You shove expecting a range like mine perhaps to call you which is less then 20% chance he is holding, but for what... to gain 1/6 of your stack by him folding? Is it REALLY worth it is what it boils down too..

Me final 10-18 i play pretty damn tight when opening.. AJ+ 77+, i might make some loose calls but thats only on read of how light they are shoving.. (his read on you i fist pump fold 76 i mean jesus what is he ahead of??) but i'd rather fold off 1.5k in chips and finally pick up a hand play it well and be up to 8+ thousand.

You obviously have a grip on how to play the 45 mans and am no way am i dogging your move. I just cant tell you how many people i catch shoving super light with huge stacks, i think the 2.5x BB raise or 3x BB raise does the exact same trick but you can actually fold. Personally whether stealing or holding AA i like to go just over 2x BB raise to give the impression as if i want a call but i'm in the hand for a reason, and outplay them. Imagine you make it 1100 for him to call.. Of course he does.. flop comes and u timebank shove.. Do you think he calls with 7 high?

IDK bud many different ways to attack the blinds rather then shoving and praying he doesnt have a hand, or ( his favorite hand?? ) and just using your abilties post flop to take a medium pot, rather then just scooping blinds.

Not saying bad play, but cant give you a pat on the back, your a good player and use it to your advantage.

    -May the best hand HOLD!!

According to Nash Equilibrium (HoldemResources.net: HeadsUp Nash Equilibrium), K2o is very close to unexploitable given that villain has 11.92 BBs, it gets unexploitable at 11.6. But I think the push should be good in most situations as people call too tight.

Even against a "nash-pusher" (looser than most), he shouldn't make the call with 67s until he has 5.4 BBs, so I think it's safe to say it's a bad call.

Table image does not apply whatsoever, they aren't paying attention...

    K2 is a terrible shove.

67 sooted is always the nuts - ALWAYS!!!!

A bad player with that stack is rarely ever folding when he has you covered... If you are gonna shove here a lot, the stop n go is a much better approach.

67 is always the nuts, and isn't that far behind by the way

Problem being is that its always behind... The call is atrocious, simply terrible. I like your shove a lot more then his call, it is a marginal shove. Not a terrible shove like these guys are saying.

Her4dalooty, the fact that you are calling light instead of shoving light is a leak. I think widening your calling range against late position raisers is important and a smart move to make, but you should constantly be looking for spots to chip up without going to showdown. I'd 100% rather shove Q9 from the cut off, then call a button all in from the BB with A7. I'd rather shove 22 from the button then call with 55.

Every time you go to showdown you are allowing the luckiest player to win, instead of picking up chips.
