I'm done with FTP

I have had nearly a 4 and half year run end with Full Tilt Poker.

About a week ago my account got hacked. Of course I email FTP to inform them of this invasion and we go through all the normal routin.

While emailing one person I was informed that I would have to show proff of adress no big deal I ask if I can use my paystubs from work as I have no bills and all my banking is done online and with that I have kept my adress my dad's home. This way if anything ever happened to me he could claim to be me and get my money out of my account since he has the same name as me and well lives in that town... anyway long story short...

I send them my Paystub and a different person informs me very rudley infact that my paystub wouldn't work I had to have some kind of bill. I tried to explain to them that I live with a friend and all bills are in his name. After about three days of back and forth I finnaly have told them to shove it. It saddens me that it came to that but I had no other options in my mind. So for the BBP Feb. Challenge I'm sorry that I won't be able to play. However, there is no way for me to do buisness with a company that has pictures of me holding the pay stub, pics of me with my licence pics of my licence pics of me with my HR and my Paystub and won't accept it.

Just wish to share with you all my story and so you all know why I won't be doing anything in that competion.

It's a bummer that they don't have a phone number to call in situations like this.

It's BS that they're quick to figure out when your ISP suggests you might have 2 acconts, but they utterly fail at figuring out that someone with a completely different ISP that's coming from somewhere far away is using the account.

yeah, i got my acc blocked too, because some kind of transfers i did with the wrong guy, he send money to me at FTP and I sent to PS.
And like 20 days later my acc blocked, lost like $7k in this joke...
Couldn t have my acc back, and I was one of the top leaderboards for a gooood time..
Played there for like 4 years too.
But they didnt listen to me, and just shut down the acc.

Thats scary. Makes me MORE thankful for BBP players that have multiple site accounts to do my transfers.

Losing that kind of money for doing a favor is absolutely outrageous, i can understand their side of people stealing / laundering money etc, but regardless it should take some sort of background search on YOUR past, being a loyal customer for 4+ years, hanging on the leader boards etc etc, your not making a gain by transferring a bit of money, your making your money by PAYING them rake, and taking other paying customers money.

Sorry to hear about both of your unfortunate departure from Full Tilt.
