Angry Villain's VPiP = 100%, but I can't beat him

Ever have one of those opponents who plays every hand? Yes, I actually mean EVERY hand. I got destroyed by one of these guys this morning...

He re-raised with K-5 and 6-9 suited. In the hand shown, he raised with J-5 offsuit, then called a raise out of position with it. This crap went on EVERY SINGLE HAND until he busted me. I couldn't figure out how to beat the guy, or at least I didn't in the short time he was at my table before I busted.

I think the thing that frustrated me the most was his chip stack. It just didn't seem fair for a player this bad to have the chip lead with 339 left. And what was even sicker was that he had nearly double the chips of the guy in second place with almost 500 big blinds!

wow... I would be screaming with joy and begging to be put on his table. once you see a player like that time to play some street poker and start pushing those chips toward the middle.

That's why I played every hand with him. I just didn't expect him to win them all!

I was looking at he bottom OPR rankings and found a guy who has an OPR of 0.38 for three years in a row. Seriously. He cannot even make 1st percentile. He has multiple stretches of 4 or 5 consecutive 45th place finishes in 45 mans. He cashes around 2 % of the time, and usually goes hundreds of games between cashes (all 45 and 90 mans).

Then suddenly I see him at my table, in a $24 game, which si higher than he usually plays. he is busting people left and right, with a VPIP around 90. I get in against him and BOOM, I am gone from the tournament.

You just never know.
