Rounder63 and I are playing in this tournament today. Best structure and nicest poker room of any $1,000 event this summer in my opinion. We start with 25,000 chips and blinds are only 25/50.

How many players and how tough is the field? Good luck guys. You both are due and deserve a deep run.
Still registering for a couple more hours. Hoping for 300 players. Too early to know how tough the field is. In one hand, a dealer error gave me what must have been a bigger full house on the river. I bet big. Guy freaked out, threw his cards, started screaming and left the room. Here are the details of that hand:

Starting level 2 now with 25,425 chips. Table is pretty tough actually.
Challenging table. Hard to find spots, but I am confident I will figure this out. Starting level 3 now with 26,100 chips.
Field size = 235 players. First place pays $55K, which would cover my entire summer trip.
Just had to lay down top pair top kicker in a huge three-way pot. Both opponents had top two pair. Lost 9,000 in that hand though. Here are the details of that hand:

Dealers are friendly here. And they are playing a nice blend of Miranda Lambert and assorted rock over the speakers. Love this poker room!
Starting level 4 now with 17,050 chips. 208 players left.
Good luck to you both!
