W.S.O.P. HORSE Event on ESPN

Anyone else want to stick something deep into your ear when trying to watch the WSOP on ESPN? I have to have the volume down and half doing soemthing else just so I don't pay attention to the stupid comentary. Someone should tell them that you don't always have to talk just to hear yourself!

FYI - Poker After Dark is the best poker show on tv.

I'm a sucker. I know that the poker knowledge and intelligent hand discussion is not found with Lon and Norman......but for some reason there is something to be said (at least for me) for the originals.

For pure poker viewing I like High Stakes and Poker After Dark.....but I think that Norman Chad is moderately entertaining/amusing.

To each their own I suppose!

wow, I couldn't disagree with the OP more on this one. I absolutely love Norm and Chad, I think they are heads and shoulders about every other poker commentator. I enjoy their banter itself as much as the actual poker being played, maybe more...

I like Norman Chad's persistence. If he doesn't like someone's shirt, he'll let you know the entire show.

I like them as well. I think highstakes is the best poker show.

I think they sound a lot smarter than they really are because they are commenting on the action AFTER they already know what is going to happen... their commentary is not live and is part of the post play production process and is very, very scripted... LAME!!! However, I do also find them somewhat amusing at times.

Those two are just are only there to keep the average person who doesnt know much about the game entertained...

poker isnt exactly exciting to watch when you dont know what is going on...

and ESPN is smart enough to make it watchable for every1...

But yes I do want to mute Lon sometimes when he goes on and on about how ugly some dudes shirt is...

I perfer to watch WPT events with our OSU buddy Mike Sexton above all tho...
