Comeback kiddo
Hi guys.
Previous weeks been raping for my bankroll. Ive had swings before, but this one just been sick. Can not win anything anytime anyday. Im down about 3-4K which doesnt seem alot compared to what doc has been getting lately. But due to needing the money, I have made a lot of withdrawals leaving my bankroll only about 4,6K. So as you can see im pretty crippeled.
I've been left with about 1000$. Which gives me a headache because I was about to stop withdrawing and make a hit at some bigger buy ins: grinding 75 x45 and 100$ mtts.
My plan is by the end of june to be well prepared for grinding 75$x45 and 100$mtts which I really think I can do.
my plan is:
Im going to 4-table all the way.
im going to start off a somewhat risky 50$ 9 handed leaving me with only about 17-18 buy ins. (if I run bad right away I would have to drop sooner rather than later).
step 1: Im going to play 400 50$+5 9 handed sngs (if I reach 2500$ before that I will move up to 100$ 9 handed).
Step 2: 400 sngs 109$ 9 handed. (If I reach 5,500$ before that I will move to 75x45)
Step 3: 200 75$ x45.
You got any input? is this bad bankroll managment other than at the shot in the beginnning? Any comment what so ever?
Going to keep it updated how it works out.
I really am confident I can beat all these levels comfortably. That is if I just stop 12-tabling on a tiny laptop screen like I've been doing occationally before.

I've also had a terrible start to 2009, after being very profitable in 2008. Here are some of the things I feel I did wrong during the first two months of this year.
1. I raised my ABI (average buy-in) from $43 in November to $63 in January, when a more gradual progression would have made better sense.
2. I increased my AFS (average field size) from 120 in November to 203 in January. Again, something more gradual would have been smarter.
3. I switched from four-tabling to eight-tabling. It would have been wiser to move up to five, then six, always willing to drop back down if my profit decreases.
4. I played a wider array of buy-ins all simultaneously, typically ranging from $11 to $109. Although the $109 games aren't much more difficult than the $109 ones, it's important to keep in mind which games are which, since they do require slightly different strategies. I haven't been doing this lately. Instead, I've played all the games similarly, which has made me lose value in them all.
Keep your head up Vegard, and I'll let you know as soon as I can get my own ship righted. :)

hmmmm, u have about 19 buyins for 55 dollar sngs. That is questionable. Generally, 30 bis is the minimum you want for STTs, maybe less for $12 or lower. The $60 sngs are generally tough and i would want much more than $1000, I currently have more than that and play the $36 and $24 sngs which are softer with less variance due to the slightly worse and passive play. I would suggest something similar.
