Tax 4 Online and Live?

I am new in the US. And I would like to know how much taxes do you pay ? For example you are single and made 30.000 USD in 2008. So how much taxes do you need to pay ? I know you guys cant tell it me exactly but you could answer 10-13 %

i used a guide put on p5s by a gambling tax proffesional, it came to around 16% for me.

but i spent 100% of my online earnings in live venues this year so no taxes for me.

Defyodds, thanks for answering. How did you do this and where is this guide ? Did you said that you lost your winning by live play ?

go to p5s and on the left hand side there is a tab called 'TAX Q and A"

you could lie and claim losses at live cash games/ the pit, but i wouldnt recommend it. i have reciepts for my live tourneys, travel expenses etc.
