Drop down in stakes
The last few months I have been grinding $75 sngs I got my acount to 10k after cashing out 600 twice. I have had lots of bad beats including flopping aces full of kings with AA and losing on a runner runer to a royal. My account dropped to to 5800 and maybe on the verge of going on tilt. I decided to cash out 3500 so I make sure this stretch is a winner and I will probably play some local 1-2 or 2-5 no limit with the money.
Question #1 Should I play 1-2 and build my bankroll or play 2-5 with less of a rack variance? Rack is 10% of pot up to $5 I believe. I dont think 2-5 will be significantly harder, but with a few more winning grinders.
Play will be at harrah's in kansas city.
Question #2 Online bankroll is 2k and number one goal is never to go broke.
I think I will play $22+2 turbo(9) a $20+2(9) and 2 $24+2(45). I will record my results of the 3 games separately. Should I move up in each game separately when I win so much or should I move both the turbo and reg 9player sng? Or Should I move up or down my play given my total bankroll?
When should I move up or down? Sorry for being an anal nit on this, lol.
I am historically a winning player in just about any thing I do except larger mtts with buyins over $10 (no limit holdem, I am a winner in Non No Limit token tourneys)

With regards to your online BR a lot will depend on the volume of games you play, $2k for 1 format would be ideal but I am over cautious, Scott has posted an online chart for some BR management guidelines which you may find useful, Ill dig the link out.
The turbos and 45 seaters will have a lot more brutal swings than the 9max SnGs and you may find $2k a bit short. Why dont you look at what format you are most profitable at and up the volume on those rather than playing more than 1 format.
Ill try and find the link.

You dont need nearly as much playing STT sngs as you do for the 45. If you got a roll at 2K I would at the very least play 30$ tourneys as long as your profitable in them (which is not very hard cause the level in 30$ STT is far worse than 26x45)..
And I do hate turbo STT. In my experience the play you get from standard games allow you to play a hell of a lot more poker than the turboes where it becomes shove-party towards the end especially in these low stakes where you can find yourself 20bbs deep in the HU.
Long as you know you are profitable in the tourneys you play you dont have to move up seperatly. If you grind your way up to 3K+ I would sertaintly move to the 50$ STT tourneys.
26$45 should be no problem for you with this roll.
