I cashed out on Full Tilt today.

I have had my second losing day in a row, a bad losing month so far in April, and finally I am convinced that I cannot beat 200nl, at least not with how I have been playing. Constantly making mistakes in big pots, and more importantly, letting tilt creep in to my games. I used to NEVER tilt.

Ok, this is not as drastic as it sounds... Here are the factors...

1. I am down about 400 for the money of April, which is not very damaging. My online roll stands at 4800, still enough to play 1/2, but I felt myself slipping. I feel I can beat 1/2 but I need to refocus.

2. My live rolls stands at 2500, and I have been craving the ability to play some of the juicier games available. (most notably, Gemini) I could not allow myself to play these games without the proper bankroll.

3. I play very well at 100nl online, so I feel that by moving down to this level I can still make a profit, and can work on refocusing and rebuilding my winning strategy.

THE DECISION:

I cashed out $2000 on Full Tilt today, putting my online bankroll at $2800 and my live bankroll at $4500. $2800 will be enough to play 100nl online. $4500 will not quite be enough to play the 300nl Gemini game.

So... I found a good friend to buy 33% of my action. He will be taking 33% of my profits in return for covering 33% of my losses. I will cover fees and tokes outright to sweeten the deal for him.

So, essentially, I will be playing 300nl as a 200nl which I would need $4000. $4500 will suffice.

I intend to play 1 night a week at Gemini for 6 hours and see how I do live, and I will continue to play 100nl online. I feel very re-energized about my decision and maybe I can start making some positive changes in my game.
