Fold aces on a paired flop?

Ever fold :Ad::As: on the flop? Is there ever a flop or a circumstance that would force you to let go of the almighty pocket aces?

I was told today by another player that he folded aces when faced w/ to a flop of :Ks: :Kd: :Jd: because he said he knew he was beat.. Now I had played w/ this guy for a couple of hours and he was a 98%er on OPR so I started to believe him but what do you think?? I asked him to send me the pic or to post it on here and he agreed, so we will just have to wait and see if it happens.. It was for all of his chips if that helps..

Easily. And even more so if the board is Suit Suit Suit and neither of my aces is that suit. I'm gone.

Obviously we all know that everything is situation based. That being said, I wouldn't flatly say that I would fold here, especially in this situation. You have staight and flush re-draws, so seeing a turn would be really important. I will say that I have folded Aces many times post-flop depending on the scenario. To me, Aces is one of the biggest "donkey factors" at a tournament because new players can't come off of them, regardless of the board or the player.

I've folded AA on the flop as well.

I've folded KK utg preflop, 6 handed, that was my biggest ever laydown. ;)

Droppin' overpairs on the flop like its my job.

You have to be able to lay down overpairs on dangerous flops, remember all you have is one pair and last time I looked that was not very high on the list of hand rankings. Again this comes down to many additional factors (board, opponent(s), structure, chips stacks, pot odds, etc...).

Yes, I can definitely fold aces here. If the flop had paired something like twos or fives I'd have a much harder time letting the aces go.

thats an EASY board to fold AA ....any hand with a King now caught up and you are not longer beating JJ...Although he could have a hand like Qd10d thinking that if he hits an ace nine or diamond he is good but an ace would fill me up and I have one diamond so if I thought there was a high enough chance that he would shove a big combo draw here I might call. with JJ he probably doesnt shove allin so he either has a king and is worried about the draws or he has a big combo draw

Yes, I agree with everyone else, I would fold them here. Ive let them go on the flop with less dangerous boards. If someone is giving you maximum resistance when you have played your aces strongly you have to wonder what they have. Im getting better at laying down hands now I play in cash games. If I lose in a $20 sng ive lost $20. When Ive got $140 behind me I dont want to lose that with one hand.

With that A high flush draw and possible boat I'd find it hard to fold. It would really depend on how the betting was going.... I was watching otbdave's videos of his online play, you definitely see him laydown some strong starting hands based on the situation (thanks for posting those).
