    AQ Decision

What do you do w/ AQ??? I find myself with tough decisions preflop w/ this hand.. I recently have run into very aggressive (Lappin Aggressive) players that are on a raise fest preflop and I end up w/ this hand.. What do you do with it say in late position w/ average to above average stack in the middle of a mtt.. Or the aggressor raises your say bb and you have this unsuited hand.. Do you reraise him more often than not or just call his raise and see a flop..?? I understand there are a lot of factors that go into this type of decision but this hand in my opinion is not that great even though it is one of the better drawing hands..

If its from UTG or UTG+1 and I am in early or mid-pos, I fold.
If its from UTG or UTG+1 and I am in late pos with 25BBs or more, I call.
If its from UTG or UTG+1 and I am in late pos with 12-20BBs, I fold.
If its from UTG or UTG+1 and I am in late pos with less than 12 BBs, I fly.

If its from UTG+2-mid-pos and I am in late pos with 30 or more BBs, I raise.
If its from UTG+2-mid-pos and I am in late pos with 15-30 BBs, I call.
If its from UTG+2-mid-pos and I am in late pos with 15BBs or less, I fly.

If its from Hijack to Cut-off and I am on button with 15 BBs, I raise.
If its from Hijack to Cut-off and I am on button with less than 15 BBs, I fly.

im more apt to RR more often then not
just make sure your reraising amount means u can get away from the hand if the villain decides to shove
AQs im happy to get it in all day long w/ 15BB ish
Personally i hate flat calling w/ AQ because if u hit an A u basically gotta go with it so you are really looking to hit a Q

I will most often put in a normal raise with A-Q, regardless of my position.

If someone has raised in front of me, I will usually fold A-Q.

I will hardly ever call a raise with A-Q, since I just can't think of too many flops that I want to see (Q-Q-x or A-Q-x).

I will hardly ever re-raise with A-Q. The only exception I can think of might be if I'm in one of the blinds and someone position raises from the cutoff or button, and I believe they'll fold to my re-raise.

Depends on player and stack and everything. I'll usually call in position with a big stack against another big stack, but fold out of position. I'll usually reraise smaller stacks depending on where the raise came from. If I'm opening the action, I'll vary my play, but usually limp in EP and raise in MP/LP.

Aren't you the same guy who makes a move and re-raises all in with Queen high sometimes? Or is that just in hands with George....

Even worse. I actually CALLED an all-in re-raise with queen high against George.
