Calling Galactus X...

Dont know if you recall a hand we played the other night. You were shocked I folded. Even commented on my fold. Don't have the history but it went down like this.

Final Table 9 handed

I opened raised for 3x bb from mid position around 1200??. Late position re-raises All-In for 2300. You flatted from BB. I folded getting huge odds. Just shy on 6-1.

We were 1-2 in chips I believe.

My holding A7 off- same as yours lol.

Obviously, an easy call if it folds back to me. I just misread the scenerio. I felt the button was pretty strong, as he just payed the blinds and had seven hands to wait for a reasonable holding. He has to know Im committed to calling his push. I also read your flat call as Uber strong. I only have 300 hands or so, but I believe you were 13/9.

I felt I was crushed...my problem wasn't the pre flop call(cuz I am a sucker for odds). It was the 9000 chips we had behind us. I couldn't feel good about an ace hitting and def not a seven. So I just chose to get out of the way.

Also, I would make the call around the money as people are more likely to check down a hand. This hand just seemed like a hand I could spew off chips.

Any thoughts?

galactus is not a crazy donk and its not gonna try to bluff a dry side pot. call and check it down.

Maybe you speak of a different Galactus than the one I've played with online?

I remember and yes it was a check down hand.. He ended up with AQ and that was the only real hand he had during my time at the final table.. Two hands later I had him all in preflop KQ vs Q9d and he rivered diamonds.. So nasty.. Hey welcome abroad.. How did you end up finding us?

i fold tight against galactus... he shows his two cards all the time anyways after everyone folds...

Yeah he wasn't happy when i didn't fold my aces after he tried to bluff me with 6 high. I guess I had a hard time believing his huge bet on river was a value bet.

You really froze me with that call though. had your range much tighter. Have to adjust accordingly

I heard about this place from a player.. Lady something or another was her screen name. I think she realized how much help I needed!!!!! I checked it out and it seems like this is the place to be, so here I am.

I figured I spend more time with you guys than my wife, I might as well put faces to names, etc.

Denny not sure how much we have played together in the past but I look forward seeing you at the tables.. This is a great place to learn from some if not all of the best online grinders.. We have just about all the big time grinders that don't have red letters and don't need them..lol Most if not all of them offer advice to us not so great players.. Good luck and stay involved on here and their is no doubt you will reap the benefits..

Ha, I was real skeptical. I actually went to another cpu to check it out. I would have referred you on the registration info.

Dont know how much we have played together, but I recognize a lot of the names. Chavas whooped up on me in my first 75$ final table. We got heads up and he ripped me apart. Rounder63 seems to be constantly raising my air with air all the time. I just started playing these 45's in January. So thats where I spend most of my time.

I'll definitely be down for the 45man challenge next time!!! I love giving away money.
