shipp it pre.. not standard play, but I think I prefer it in this hand..

Its not standard. But take a close look at the hand history..

Got the hand history wrong// but ur shipping 20x the initial bet for a great spot to pick up 8-9 times the intial bet without a showdown, when you still got some EV when ur called... gotta look at it closer later when my gf dont want me to come to bed...

Its not the best of hands to play OOP, so I agree with Vegard for once!! :-) Maybe not a shove but a chunky re-raise to negate playing OOP.

Can we make a case for folding pre-flop here? Its early in the tourney and Cory must have a well above average stack given the blind levels and his stack size.

Ur risking 10K to win 3K of dead money, and thats only when UTG calls u, UTG+1 have 6K and those other guys u dont even have to worry about since I dont see them flatting with QQ+ or AK.

I think im 100% okay with the preflop shove. I don't think I fold here ever. Im either shoving or calling. If I see the flop with this many players I don't think I continue post flop unless I hit top two or better...or atleast proceed with much caution. The way it played it out in your hand, fold 100% postflop.
