Hand plays after making the cash MTT.

So the last two days i went pretty deep in a couple of mTTS. Happy with my play and sense of gamble. Even though not to much money i liked how it felt to gamble a lot more.

Just wondering how some of you people play after the cash when you are say in the bottom half of the field. Is pushing any pairs from LP raises a must. AK and AQ push not matter what. I dunno i wanna feel how some people play this deep. Knowing you made your money back. and a gamble is a must. Is it best to tighten up or let loose.

All I can say about this is it's NORMALLY best to play the opposite what the average person does. IE: around the bubble when they tighten, you loosen. after the bubble when they loosen, you tighten. That doesn't mean don't play aggressively and it also doesn't mean that you won't play in a game where the exact opposite happens, people loosen up before the bubble and tighten after. Every game is different.

That all being said, this is the stage I struggle with and the best players make their living. The point is now not about survival but chipping up to get to the final table. If you are short, you will be pushing a lot. If you are deep stacked, you have to maintain the deep stack while applying pressure in the correct situations.

I find there is a fine line in poker from being a genious or a donkey. As long as you are thinking every decision out thoroughly and making the best decisions for your style of play, I don't think their is a set answer to your question.

How's that for a non answer answer
