    1/3 NL hand at Gemini

mp raises to $20 cutoff calls button calls and bb calls.... flop is Kh5c6s....check...original raiser bets $50...cutoff folds and button makes it $125...bb folds and original raiser calls $75 more....$331 in the pot..turn card is 7d...original raiser checks and button bets $150 and gets check raised to $350....button tanks then calls $200 more....pot is $1,031....river is 7c for a board of Kh5c6s7d7c....original raiser shoves for $600 even....button tanks and eventually folds....what were the 2 hands?

At the Gemini, that could be anything, but my guess is original raiser had AA and button had KQ/KJ.

sounds like some gamblin to me

It's a sign that you are playing against opponents who continually take the worst of it, and if you can't beat someone who always takes the worst of it, you can't beat anyone"

This is why I wont be playing the Gemini anytime soon.....I'm not too proud to say that I'm scared shitless to step foot in that place.

One of my main strengths is reading.....and I dont feel like I could read a single soul in this place because they play everything and they play everything to large raises, etc.

I know that is no way for a "good" player to think.....so maybe I'm not a good player.....who knows. Over time you'd think that a good player would have to win in a donkey farm like that, but I'm sorry, I can't deal with the HUGE swings that have to be involved in that place.

    No thanks!

Your right Dave, big swings, you can't avoid them there because you WILL be called. However, as far as overall winrate per 100 hands or whatever, I don't think there is a more profitable game in a 100 mile radius.

I won a $225 pot at SHOWDOWN my first night there with 10 high. My continuation bet on the 7 high flop "accidentally" put my opponent all in. My 10 high held versus his 9 high.

    that, sir, is impressive
