Tuesday League: Game 2

We had a No Limit Hold Em game Tuesday, and had 19 players! The women did really well. 3 of the final 6 were ladies!

Ok, 2 of them were the next ones out (bubbling). Jason cashed, and so did Mike. Heads up went fast, finishing in 1 hand! Conner beat Holly who has now finished in 2nd place 2 tournaments in a row and is our league leader.

It's still early in the league, so don't get discouraged from playing. We were VERY close to being at capacity, so I'm laying out a couple ground rules to make it better for everyone.

IF YOU RSVP FOR A SEAT AND ARE GONNA BE LATE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! As long as I know it's cool. If you have to CANCEL, I need to know by 7:00.

IF YOU RSVP FOR A SEAT AND DON'T SHOW UP, YOU'LL BE REMOVED FROM THE LEAGUE. Ok, if it was an emergency, that's understandable, but please don't tie up a seat if there are others that want to play!

PLEASE ARRIVE BY 6:50 TO BUY IN. Cards are gonna fly at 7:00 sharp. Some people get up really early the next day.

I WILL ALLOW 2 ALTERNATES. Max seating is 21 (11 at 1 table, 10 at the other), and if 23 people sign up, the last 2 to RSVP will be alternates- getting the same starting stack as everyone else, but not getting a seat until someone busts.

I asked the first week about dropping the 2 lowest scores? Have you had a chance to think about that at all? Since this is a weekly league it will be nearly impossible for everyone to make all 12 games. If you drop the 2 lowest scores, people who miss a week or 2 won't be penalized so harshly. Just a thought. Thanks for a fun game again. It was especially fun since Conner and I were probably 2 of the 3 or 4 shortstacks going into the final table! I am also already really looking forward to October and the mixed/different game format. I don't get many chances to play some of my favorite games "live" and I appreciate it :)

In case there was some confusion...

there are 12 weeks in the league season. we are dropping your 2 worst scores of those 12 weeks. that way, if you miss a week or 2, you have no disadvantage.
