So last night i was playing in my own game

We were playing 8 handed when this hand came up. I was under the gun and looked down at blinds were at 150-300 and i had about 11,000 in chips so i made it 925 to go scott cook to my left with about 7500 flat called me (knowing scott his range is wide here) but probably a pocket pair or ace jack. folds around to the button Kim who makes it 2500 to go. she has about 8500 total.

In my spot do u fold call or push and why?

I think Kim's range here is very narrow. I would seriously consider folding.

When she put in this raise, I figured she had to have A-A, K-K, Q-Q or A-K at the worst. I didn't know what you were holding when you raised UTG, but I knew my pocket fives had to be dumped.

although i've never played with her im not sure if folding is that good of an option...depends on what you think she's putting you on....maybe she's putting you on a wider range than you think....i dont know i'd call or shove....probably lean closer toward shoving

Knowing Kim and her range, I would seriously consider folding. You could also just do a stop-and-go assuming no A or K shows up on the flop so you only give her 3 cards instead of all 5. I'm with Scott on her range though, maybe adding JJ in there too, but that might be stretching it.

    Any two cards...

if JJ is stretching it than obv she's much tighter than I thought, but im a fan of calling and shoving a flop with no A or K...cause ur right preflop she is callin with AK so she will get to see 5 cards and if flop comes no A or K she will pay you off if she does have JJ and fold if she has AK

so for the most part you guys had the correct read. I did end up folding the Qs. I think because of kims range it is the correct fold but i do not think it is a fold every time in this situation. If you lay down everything but ks and aces to a re raise after you have been flatted i think it puts a huge hole in your game

Agreed but I have come across some players that are so tight it makes it an easy lay as well. I have only played with Kim once, at most.
