I will find out. They normally have between 70 and 100 players for it.
It's a great tourney. It's the weekend I'll be Vegas so I won't be able to make it, but the one time I played it I took 2nd (I think there were only 80 when I played it). Good starting stack and slow structure (for the Gemini, more typical of the BBP live league structure). I think they have antes in there but I can't remember.
Any two cards...
Is there a site where I can get more info about this? Thanks.
There isn't much info on the site but here it is:
The Gemini Players Club
Starting stack is 5000 chips. Blinds start at 25/25. They do not double more than once or twice in the full tournament. They are always in steps. I think the antes start at the 500/1000 level. I hopefully will get the full structure tonight.
I went to the Gemini tonight and took 3rd in the tourney. I was chip leader 3 handed w/ 60k+ and I had AQ. The 2nd big stack was like 49k. Blinds are 2k/4k and I raise to 12k. The BB (2nd stack) shoves. I call, and find im coolered. He turned AK. I lose and I'm crippled and game over.
I could not get the blind structure but I know they are 30 minute levels and you start w/ 5k. I'm almost 100% though that the blind structure goes like this:
25/25, 25/50, 50/100, 75/150, 100/200, 150/300, 200/400, 300/600, 500/1k, 1k/2k, 1.5k/3k, 2k/4k . . . . . . .
I do not know anything about antes but that was the structure i played tonight except no 25/25 level and only 15 minute blinds.
IMPORTANT!!!!!
They are running satellites for the $250 game on Sunday. Call for more info 614-899-9596. I think I will be going tomorrow night for the $50 qualifier. For every $250 in the pot, somebody gets a seat. There is also $100 qualifiers which seem a little easier to make it to the dance.
What's the address of this place?

****** I will mention to you Scott if you are not a member you might get hit with some extra fees. I know the "Facility Use Fee" for that $250 tournament is $25, and normally tournaments have a $10 facility fee. If you are not a member you will have to become one. I don't know if you will get charged to sign up and play or just pay for 1. When I signed up I paid the $25 for the year membership and all my daily fees were waved. Since this is a special occasion they might charge you both still. So signing up for 1 month for $5 plus the $25 for the daily fee, $30 total will be your cheapest option.
