WSOP Circuit Events
Has anyone played any of these? I saw Caesar's has some coming up at the end of next month and, with my recent cash, feel like my poker bankroll can afford it if I play in some of the smaller ones. Check them out here:

If anyone has played before, I'm interested in some feedback. Also wondering if anyone has played in Caesar's weekly WSOP qualifiers, and if they've had enough players to be able to consistently offer this prize...

Played a $300 buy in NL Hold em back in October. You only get like 2,000 in chips and the blinds are half hour. Not enough chips or time. It ends up becoming a giant push fest if you haven't seen any cards in the first couple levels.
That is just my opinion. It was crowded, they ended up throwing in over 100 alternates in the first hour, that is how fast people were going out...if that tells you anything about the chipstacks and blind structure...and quality of play for that matter....
The regular Caesar's tournaments and Venetian deepstacks were way more play for your money.

A buddy of mine played in it last year and had the same feelings: small starting stacks compared to the blinds and quick levels made for an unimpressive tournament.

I haven't played in the Caesar's WSOP qualifiers, however this past weekend I was playing Cash at Wheeling, and they seem to hold bi-weekly $100 + $25 tournaments on Sunday's with the main prize being WSOP main event seat plus $5000 spending money. Listening at the table they said 4 weeks ago they had to turn away 250 people is was so big, and this past sunday's sold out saturday night when I was there. Might be worth checking out if the WSOP main event is the goal.

Thanks for the feedback, all. Guess I'll just keep my eyes posted for better structured tourneys. If someone comes across one, holla atcha donkey!

The structure of the $500 event is a lot better, that's the one I'm planning on playing in.
-
Which $500? 3, 5, 8? All? Still considering playing...
-
I would go with Events 5 or 8...
Event 5 - should have a much bigger field since it is a Saturday
Event 8 - what real player doesn't enjoy a short-handed tourney?
-
I'm doing 5 on the Saturday.

I think I may give Event #5 event a try. :)
