    Chop live sng?

Was playing a 60+15 sng at the Borgata with a pretty bad structure. 2k starting 15 minute levels. 25/50, 50/100, 100/200/25,200/400/50,300/600/75,400/800/100 etc.

So stacks are not too deep. I'm pretty short but i steal a couple pots and bust someone with top pair then QQ. We get to 4 handed and a possible chop is mentioned. We count our chips I have 6k and the others have 5k, 4.5k, 4.5k. Blind levels are 300/600/75. First pays 400 and second pays 200.

The play is clearly horrid but people not knowing how to play a shortstack or sngs in general. But then again, i could lose a hand and become shortstacked with these huge blinds. Do you look to chop here, or do you play it out a little more?

Personally i'd wait till it was 3 way.. but those blinds are killer and one slip and you can fall out. Or possibly one person doubles up and the rest of the stacks stay the same making for one person to either get paid to much, or him ending up not wanting to chop at all.

    Really i'm not sure.

What did you end up doing?

Play it out and go for first or make them pay you a bonus for letting them call it quits. I would never consider an equal chop here.

We just chopped for 150 each. As I was leaving, I got a little disappointed but I guess if i had busted in 4th i'd even more unhappy. I probably should have waited out one more ko but at that point the stacks would be uneven and i dunno if the other players can comprehend a noneven chop lol.

To give u an idea of how bad the play was, 6 limpers 10 handed. QJ6r sb leads 300, mp raises to 700 bu cold calls sb calls. Turn 6 sb shoves mp and bu call. sb shows KQ bu says don't suck out and shows J6 and mp shows Q6 lol.

The Mirage has SNGs with terrible structures too. Last time I was there I chopped all 3 I was in, 1 was four-handed, the others were 3-handed. Not a bad move imo.

    Any two cards...

When its bubbel, you got the greatest stack AND an edge over your opponents I would want one hell of a deal not to play it out.

You give up tons of money by making this deal, and if busting on bubbel ruins your day I think it would be wise to drop a level to really exploit all of your edges
    Stay ahead, or fall behind
