Wow - most impressive! Congratulations Kelley! :D
It is EXTREMELY impressive.....there were around 240 in the event and it was a tough field...and by tough I mean you had to dodge complete donkeys left and right.
I'll be honest.....the players in this tournament (for the most part) are prime examples of why women have the image they do in poker. Which is tight, yet absurd calling stations who treat ace anything like a pot of gold.
I cannot count the amount of times I saw a board that had 4 cards to a draw on it and these women would bet and call the whole way to the end and flip over ONE PAIR and actually beat the other woman, who had a worse pair. It was absurd

So, there is a clear winner with a queen or any diamond....and at the end, these two women bet the river, one calls the other and I'm waiting for a flush, or a straight at the very least....Nope! Ace King and even better....93off. A nine with a 3 kicker. Brilliant. :confused:
So it was a minefield in there.

Just wanted to post this picture from the weekend....I feel we don't have enough photographic evidence on this forum of all the fun and friends we share on here :D Here is the ladies + Dave (our dedicated cheerleader for the weekend)

He was with the most feminine bunch there, trust me. He REALLY would have been scared if he had been hanging out and sitting between the other 90% women at this event......:rolleyes:
Okay folks, I just got home and have been living on about 10 hours of sleep for about 4 days. I am going to reflect on my game, good points and bad, and I will have an update after this
week's Circuit Main Event (in which I won the seat with the tourney….WEeeeeeeeeee:D:D:D:D:D).

And trust me.... I didn't really feel that bad about cracking her A's, she had played a great game and I was just sad to see her wait for the nuts and get smacked with them. Ahhhh, such as poker.
