Ohio Poker Championship

The Lima Junior Golf Association is hosting the first annual Ohio Poker Championship, February 19-21, 2010 at the Veteran's Memorial Civic & Convention Center in Lima, Ohio. 100% PAYOUT!

The event will be comprised of 3 tournaments and live action all weekend:
Friday 6pm - $35 Buy-In + $15 Donation (Unlimited $20 Re-Buys)
Saturday 1pm - $100 Buy-In + $25 Donation (No Re-Buys)
Sunday 1pm - $35 Buy-In + $15 Donation (1 $20 Re-Buy, 1 $20 Add-On)

ALL RE-BUYS and ADD-ONS are PAID OUT 100%! The charity only gets the initial donations at registration! The rake is the best in charity poker business! Food provided! Professionally ran! Ya guys, this is def a great structure/tourney. Its ran very well and gets a good turnout. If you prefer cash games... you won't find better/more lucrative games than these, im sure a few others can testify. If I werent living in arizona now, id go out of my way to make it, so I definitely encourage anyone to go!

How far is Lima from Columbus?

Lima is just less than an 1.5 from Columbus. 33 to 117(Huntsville), 117 to Lima.

We usually get a fair amount of Columbus players.

I will more than likely be playing in the ME on Saturday the 20th. Not sure if any BBP members want to setup a carpool, but I'd be up for it.

If I make it to day 2 I will more than likely just be getting a hotel room for the night.

PM me if you're interested and maybe we can set something up.

There will great live action all weekend as well. And the hotel attached to the venue is giving players a discounted rate if booked ahead.

so who will be collecting the $20 bad beats last longer. By mentioning this I dont want that person to be me, too much work and ill probably just uh take the money and run so someone else should do it :biglaugh:

lets try and get an official list of bad beats players who are entering so I can start making some side bets on a bad beats player making the final table and or scooping this thing

I draw the 1hole for my table and shuffle up the cards and then offer the cut to the right of me. He cuts and I deal. I get:

3 limpers and then the cutoff raises to 300. I think for a bit and reraise to 1000. Blinds fold, limpers fold, Cutoff tanks and then smooth calls. I immediately put him on medium PP.. JJ, 1010, or 99.

Flop is:

Cutoff checks, I bet 1200 into 2275 pot. Cutoff calls.

Turn is
:7c:

Awesome!! I just boated up!. Cutoff checks, I check.

River is:
