    Question Favorite Movies??

I'm gonna risk never being spoken to again and state on the record that I think ROUNDERS is a pretty awful film. In particular, John Malkovich should have been assassinated for his effort.

    -----Added 18 May 2009 at 05:05:13-----

I wrote a blog a few months back on the best films of the year. Just wondering what people's fave movies of the year are.

    Ok two top5 lists:

(I need to know with whom I can talk cinema with and with whom I will have to nod politely and patronise!)

Wow! You guys are too artsy for me. When I see a flick, I want to be entertained. I am working on about 3 hours of sleep (good night at the tables) and sitting in my office, so I will have to update my list from time to time.

    Since January 2008:

    Iron Man
    Dark Knight
    Incredible Hulk
    Vantage Point
    Taken

All Time: This is too difficult. I will name 5 off the top of my head.

The Natural (No question. #1 all time fave)
    Rounders
    Boiler Room
    Iron Man
    Gone With the Wind

    Favorite Sequels/Trilogies/Franchise:

    Star Wars 1-6
    Spider Man
    Lord of the Rings
    Toy Story
Rocky (even though Rocky V sucked ass)

    Nice job guys!

LOL @ the juxtaposition of 'Gone With the Wind' in amongst all those action movies! No criticism of the selection - just stood out!

Anything recent I havent watched except for one:

The Wrestler , and I've got to say I didn't like it at all. Didnt feel the character developement made me care less about any of the players one way or the other. Maybe I should watch It again.

I'm a HUGE fan of Phillip K Dick and most movies made from his stories, even the bad ones. Minority Report was excellent!
