    Cake Cashout Annoying

After providing 4 different pieces of identification to Cake via email they gave me no response for 6 days. I then sent a follow up email asking why they were taking so long.

They then told me everything was good to go, and I could cash out.

I went to cash out and got the EXACT same error message as before.

Finally they emailed me today and fixed everything. However, I got to see their ridiculous rules about check options.

    • All checks are sent by courier at a fee of $35 per check (deducted from the requested amount).
    • The minimum cashout value permitted by check is $500.00.
    • The maximum cashout value permitted by check is $9,000.00.
    • Please note that checks cannot be delivered to a PO Box.
    • There is a $35 fee for all checks and this amount is deducted at point of request (if you request a check for $500 the actual amount forwarded by check is $465)
I am assuming my check is going to come FedEx overnight right?

I will be sure to enlighten everyone how long their $35 shipping fee takes for me to get it. I am cashing out today.

Oh, and they also play the game where they actually don't do anything with my cashout for about a week. Just in case I "change my mind" lol. Even though they deduct the $35 fee instantly.

This is why I stopped playing on sportsbook. The site is nothing but easy money, but the cashout process was just horrible. And I don't like the software either.

To be fair to Cake when I played there the cashout was very easy. But I dont live in America and like Dave says I did have to wait a week for my money, for what reason I have no idea. Cashing out on Bodog used to be the worst but they have sorted their problems out now.

I am not saying that. Just showing you what you are in for.

The "one week thing" is exactly the same Pacific Poker used to do. I think the reason is just so you can change you mind, leave the money in your account, and generate more rake. It is just a sleezy thing some poker sites try to do to squeeze out a few more dollars of rake, not to mention promote gambling problems.
