Busted, then gone??

I have always wondered why so many players at a cash game table lose their buy in and immidietly leave? This happens every day and just recently I would say more players leave their seat when they go bust than they do rebuy? There may be a very simple answer for this but I NEVER leave after being stacked. For a start you have just seen how your opponent busted you (good or bad) and maybee want to make some notes how he played. Do you yourself leave once stacked, if so why? Do the players in question believe they are in a "cooler" seat, did they decide they would leave if they got stacked before they sat down? Are they embarrased at being stacked? (probably not because many will have been given a bad beat on the way). I would love to know if anyone has any ideas on this, as being one of the now fewer players who buys straight back in, I dont quite understand the logic.

If at a casino its probably a sign of a player that was playing over their head. Losing that buy in was a big loss to them. Online it could be anything from someone just planning on playing a short time anyway to someone that changes tables. Neither one of these makes much sense to me since I dont sit down to play unless I have time to play a while and as you said if a player busts me I now have some information on that player that I can use to make my money back. Plus I should have info on the other players at the table as well. Usually, my limit is three buy ins. If I lose three buy ins Im either playing really bad or running really bad and either one is cause to move on and come back another time. Either another day or the same day after a good break.
