    $0.50/$1.00 NLHE - Sundays - OSU

I wanted to let everyone know that I host a cash game every Sunday and we are always looking for new players...

The game is $0.50/$1.00 blinds with a $100 max buyin and no minimum buyin. Average buyin is around $70. The game is located at my house about 1 mile East of OSU Main Campus. (11th/Summit) I have (3) 8' custom built tables in my basement so I can accomodate up to 30 players. Currently, I get between 15 and 25 players every Sunday. The game consists primarily of male students between the ages of 18 and 23, but we do have 2 female regulars and some older players as well. The game is reasonable ~25% players/flop with $10 avg pot and standard opening raise of $3-5. Straddles are common.

The environment is an unfinished basement so you are not playing in a 5 star casino, but the tables, cards and chips are of top quality. Drinking is allowed (in moderation), smoking is not, however there is an exit just at the top of the stairs.

We play EVERY Sunday rain or shine from 7:00pm to 1:00am. Players can buy-in and cash out as they please with no announcement neccessary. I take absolutely NO RAKE so realize that I also do not provide any food or drink. There is a vending machine in the house that sells beverages and a gas station nearby with an ATM.

Hope to see some of you guys out there, feel free to bring a friend or come as a small group the players are all very friendly and we have a lot of fun, not to mention there is plenty of cash floating around...

    David,

Thanks for the post. I would like to check it out soon. Please post it on the calendar. If it were posted yesterday, I probably would have come out to play.

    How was the game yesterday?
Getting all my bad luck outta the way now.

It is posted on the calendar as of that posting. I actually did not have a game yesterday mostly because of finals and the weather, however I have hosted for about 18 months and the games are almost NEVER cancelled.

I've played at Dave's games for almost a year now, and they're well run, well attended, and have a mix of skill levels and styles. It's a lot of fun.
