Yesterday i made a nice cash for myself finally online. I finished 35th in the $535 buyin 1.5million GTD yesterday. I play alot online but have not had the money to put any real money on here so most of my wins come via sngs and other small tourneys, its nice to finally play a good tourney and do well in it.
I was down to 35 players left had 225k with KK UTG and 10k-20k blinds, my table was pretty active, an allin and a caller on practically every hand sometimes a couple, so i decided to make a pretty large raise UTG and if nothing else pick up the blinds/antes. So i made it $69,999, so then it was folded to 4th pos and a player who id seen play sum bad cards reraised allin for my stack. I couldnt put him on much cuz he was super loose for that point in tourney so i called.. I had KK he had 99 he hits a 9 on the turn to take me out.
I was playing pretty tight at this point in the tourney due to the fact that almost every hand had players pushing in and i didnt want to jeopordize my stack..my plan worked perfectly cards just didnt fall my way.
Just wanted to share my experience with everyone on here because this site has alot of great players and any info from anyone will be taken in..

Definitely a bummer getting a nine spiked on you, but you obviously got your money in with the best hand. That's just how it is sometimes.

How many players registered for that one? $4500 profit is pretty solid!

GREAT CASH JOSH!! I too was in that event and played nearly perfect but had my aces cracked twice and got KO'd in the low 900's (I think)..

there was just under 3500 Alroy... was a tough field but a good field.. its nice to play a real tourney where players play how their supposed to ..most tourneys on there people play very poorly and make terrible calls and never fold to any agression once commited a single dollar.. its nice to play an event that u can actually play true poker like live and players play right..
