I just installed the new beta Sharkscope HUD software, and it paid for itself within one hour!

On this hand, I flopped the nuts, and my opponent was the chip leader, and also happened to be the biggest fish at the table. Notice his ABI of $25, and he was playing in this $109 game. That tells me he was probably out of his league (like me). Also notice his ROI of -47% and the fishbowl icon just in case I'm not sure how bad that really was. He also called my all-in river bet just as I grabbed this screen shot.

The best player at this table has a lot of chips and is seated to my right. His average buy-in is $102, so he plays this level all the time. And he has a 20% ROI! A 20% ROI at this buy-in level makes him one of the best, as shown by his shark icon. Looks like I've got him right where I want him.

Both programs are essential to online play and both programs are used for different things.

Pokertracker is used to track progress and Sharkscope HUD is used for real-time analysis of your opponents while playing SNGs.

i believe this has been asked before, but i will try again. anyone know why sharkscope is not available on ultimate bet? did they ban it? and does anyone know of any similar tools that ARE available on ub.

Travis I think the reason UB is not tracked on Sharkscope is due to how they record their statistics.. Or it could always be that they don't have a contract w/ them..

Pokertracker is used to track progress and Sharkscope HUD is used for real-time analysis of your opponents while playing SNGs.

Pokertracker only tracks the HANDS that your opponents play while you have the program running and the opponents are at your table(s). Sharkscope doesn't track hands at all. Instead, it tracks SNG tournaments, and it reports them all, whether you're in the game with a given opponent or not.

Well, this one time at Mason's game, I lost most of chips to someone holding 9-7. I still have nightmares about that game.

Pokertracker can be used in many ways, and first and foremost you do not have to be at the table for it to collect data on people....used in conjunction with programs such as idleminer and a few other datamining programs, you can collect valuable information on your opponents before you ever sit at a table....cash or SNGs.

The Sharkscope HUD allows tells you the type of player you are playing while in a SNG instead of having to utilize the Sharkscope website. That is what I meant by analysis....not that it tracks a person's handplay.

Chad gets the credit for this one. He suggested adding a yellow numbers to certain players. So now at a glance I can see the winning players (green), losing players (red) and break-even players (yellow).

For anyone who plays a lot of SNG tournaments, I highly recommend Sharkscope HUD.
