I know several of our poker ladies went to play this event yesterday. Here are a couple of updates I received from Stacey overnight...

First text message:

219 started, down to 40 still in it, 27 will cash

Second text message:

I'm out three from the cash. I have to shove with A-Q and run into A-K of course. That is what happens ever time.

I just heard that Kathleen Gliva chopped this event for $13K. She's not on our forum yet, but she lives locally and finished fourth in last years Ladies Event at the W.S.O.P., cashing for $70K.

Well that is swell and all but she needs to be removed from our Hall of Fame since she has failed to join our merry band......

When I was at Golden Nugget a couple days ago, I saw a nice banner saying that Stacey Nutini won this event last year. Congratulations Stacey!

Today is day two of this year's event, and Tanya Pereyra (Mrs. Andressoprano) is still in the hunt with 32 players remaining. Go Tanya!

Tanya just now made the final table of this event.

Out 7th. Average stack was 24bbs, button opened, Tanya shoved SB w KT, BB had AA and button KK. Vgg, too bad structure didn't leave room for more play, bc she's clearly much better than at least 4 of the remaining ones. Next time.
