ISOP #2 - MAIN EVENT

To give a brief summary of the tourney...

8 Goliaths of Online Poker took to the cyberfelt for the most prestigious tournament on the ISOP schedule. Fill Good as there to defend his crown. LAPPIN was there, needing a top 2 finish to retain the POTS Wager. Stinky was there, Player of the Series elect, looking to cap off a remarkable Series with yet another win. Online warrior 0vash0rk was looking to deny Lappin. 3errre5 was the only one who could catch Sinky but he needed a huge result and a Stinky early exit. GBdank was there and despite having only played 4 events up until this point, he was in 4th place.

Oh yeah, and Devilfish73 was there to make up the numbers (Just kidding - he was right in the mix for the POTS wager too!)

In the hand that decided the Series, LAPPIN flipped a coin with 0vash0rk early on as he flopped open-ended with the nut flush draw versus Julian's pocket AA. From there, he small-balled (testiculus minimus) his way to a dominating lead, KO-ing 3erre5, Stinky, GBdank and Rounder on his way to a familiar heads-up with Dr Fill Good. Heads-up the stacks were 3.5-1 in LAPPIN's favour but LAPPIN is known for donking it from there so Fill had hope.

They got it all in, flipping soon after as LAPPIN's top-pair went up against Fill's 2 overs+flush draw on the flop(as everyone knows, Fill loves to donk it in for any amount of money- even $460K with Ace-high!!!). Fill hit the river and quickly grinded LAPPIN down to a stack of just 13K to his 27K. In a 3bet pot, Lappin lead the flop with top and bottom pair but over the top of his raise came Fill Good, shipping it in with a Double (not Dublin) Bellybuster. Insta-Queen meant LAPPIn was redrawing to 4 outs but no luck for him as the river blanked...
