This seems to happen to me a lot. Am I the fool or is he? People seem to make a lot of chips off me by flatting my raises and then check raising me on the flop with a mediocre hand that has me beat. I am amazed at how often I get check raised on garbage flops. I have a hard time putting people on ranges or figuring out where I am, because people seem to show up with just about anything, and by the time I find out I am way behind, I have a lot of chips invested.
Should I just not C bet any more? I honestly feel like C bets rarely work. People either hit the flop, or they are just attached to their hand, having called a raise with it, they can't just fold it! Running into these short stacks who make stupid flat calls for much of their stack can be frustrating - Though in the long run it should be profitable. So, I don't really know what to make of this. Am I supposed to fold for only 500 more chips?
Advice and thoughts would be appreciated.
