Grinding 45 Man Sngs on regular weekdays vs donkament sundays

Ok, so I spent most of the first quarter of 2009 playing the full schedule of MTTs, but the variance in BR has been stressing me out (along w/ some big FT badbeats in both the Sunday Million and Mulligan... ) so I am trying a new, reduced variance strategy: exclusively grinding 45man SNGs until i have $50k sitting in my FTP acct. Now that I have played over a thousand of these I really think I have figured them out mostly and making good headway towards optimal play.

During the week I try to register for every $75 45man and register for some $26 ones when volume is low. On Sundays, volume is not a problem, obv. But I have also noticed something else about donkament sundays: ppl play a ridiculously higher % of hands. This has made for some sikk variance on for my numbers on the best day to play.

Does anyone have any thoughts or strategies they use Sundays as opposed to other days of the week?

On sundays, I bluff a lot less and value bet a lot more.

I also am good at finding excuses not to play on Sundays. My typical Sunday, I am down 2-3K it seems. The variance just makes me sick.

the quicker you realize its better to not play on sunday the happier you will be.

you are faced with too many showdowns on sundays and the pokerstars study showed exactly what happens when you go to showdown all the time.

i severely limit my weekend play maybe 4 games on a sunday as opposed to 40 on a weekday. And it certainly isnt 45/90s. The only time i even consider grinding a full day on a weekend is during one of my 500 game up-cycles, and those only come around every 2 months or so and last like 2-3 weeks
