Best way to improve your poker game? Are online vid. subscriptions really necessary?

What do you think is the absolute best way to improve your poker skills?

I was reading (link removed) earlier and it made me think. Watching online poker videos may not be the best way to really learn poker and get better. All these people going out and buying CR and leggo memberships might not be at an advantage at all like most think.

Think about it this way: If you are watching a really LAG player play $200/$400 HU and he's pointing out how he is thinking throughout his hands, his plays, etc., and you are a tight bankroll nit, you probably will become more confused than anything.

Maybe I am way off here but, what do you guys think is the best way to learn/improve in poker? Is it watching videos by good players? Books? Just playing? What is it?

Best way to get better is to be humble, and start from this realization: I suck at poker. If you do that, you won't be close-minded about ideas, you'll be willing to listen to better players, and you'll find leaks in your game easily.

This is great article. I would recommend any poker players read this.
I completely agree with Bond18 in 10 ways to improve poker game.

    1. Playing poker
    2. Hiring a coach
    3. Watching training videos
    4. Reading forums
    5. Reading books.
    6. Reading articles.
    7. Reviewing your own hand histories.
    8. Reviewing the hand histories of others.
    9. Discussing hands with friends or watching them play.
    10. Watching poker television.

I think two fastest ways help u to be a beast are hiring a coach + working hard. Thats why we should stop complaining our luck, keep grinding hard and look for a best coach for us.
