About LinkBacksi am not sure where i should post this and maybe i do not have a box clicked somewhere but i think when you get a private message you should get an email telling you that you have a pm.

No problem at all. This is a setting you can enable yourself in just a few seconds.think when you get a private message you should get an email telling you that you have a pm.
Click on User CP > Settings & Options > Edit Options > Messaging & Notifications > Private Messaging.
Check the box marked 'Receive email notification of new Private Messages'.
Then just scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on 'Save Changes'.

As I was reading this, I was thinking.... "What do you mean? I ALWAYS get an email alert when I get a PM!"
Whew... I'm not crazy. Apparently, I have just set up my profile this way!
